Our leather is designed to be treated rough—used and abused—its true beauty comes out as it ages and develops a rich patina. Don’t worry about tossing your bag in the trunk or on the floor; it only gets better with use.
If you'd like to be proactive in the aging process, use leather lotion and protectors. Clean your leather with a soft, damp cloth and apply a leather conditioner periodically to keep it in top condition.
Our leather is naturally water-resistant, but it is not fully waterproof. While it can withstand light moisture or rain, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water. If your leather gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally and apply a leather conditioner to restore its natural oils.
I wanted to invest in a nice, daily driver belt for my partner as a gift. They're both picky about leather goods and wear their clothes hard, so I came across Hides. This was the first thing I bought from here, but I decided to risk it for the warranty promise and to shop local. Both belts I've received now are beautiful and heavy, true to size and wear well.

Solid, good looking belt. Although I’ve only worn it a few times I believe it will last me a really long time. In terms of looks, I would say that it’s a great belt to dress up or dress down, but I don’t think I could dress it up enough to wear with a suit. Nonetheless, a great belt and I feel great value too.
It might look like nothing much, but when it comes to accessories, less is more. What you need to bring your suit together.
