I purchased the Nexus Leather Belt Bag as an alternative to a smaller belt bag that I have had for some time. I was looking for an option to fit a larger wallet and some essentials when traveling. The leather looks like it will need to be broken in before it becomes soft but the leather itself is fantastic quality and looks like it will age beautifully. The strap on the bag is secure making it a safe option for travel and has a number of adjustment points. I am average size and the pouch of the bag spans roughly the width of my chest giving approximately 2L of space within the bag. The zippers are secure but may need a bit of breaking in as they were stiff when I started using the bag. The brown leather is a classic fit with my wardrobe and flexible for the office, everyday use or travel. Very happy with the purchase so far.
I love the bag. It is absolutely gorgeous and a head-turner. I used it for my weekend getaway and it filled more than my weekend luggage. However, take note that the bag is huge. It’s my fault for not checking the size as I originally wanted something as an everyday bag. But no regrets on my end as the bag is extremely well-crafted and is just top notch quality.
The bags I purchased from HIDES are super high quality in materials and fabrication, at least a step or 10 above the competitive offerings. I recommend, and will purchase again. I also had reason to speak to customer service, and they were so friendly and professional.
I love my hides bag! I was visiting a friend in Newfoundland last summer and fell in love with her hides bag, I had to have one! I love it so much, I donated all my other bags. The quality is exceptional, it’s definitely a lifetime bag.
