I started using the Nexus Woven bag - black with red interior - and I absolutely love it! Sturdy, well made and the bag has lots of internal organization - from a key hook to hidden pockets. Its very comfortable and holds my phone, keys, lip gloss, and its so stylish. So happy with it!

The bag arrived much faster than expected, and I love it!
The leather is so soft and the zipper works so smoothly. I honestly had a hard time deciding whether I should buy the one with the smooth/non-woven leather or this woven one, but I am glad that I chose this - It’s unique yet not so flashy.
There are 2 inside pockets (one small and one larger) and additional pocket on the back, and you can easily fit a phone, wallet, keys and sunglasses without making it look too bulky.
Only 2 things I would mention are that the color of the leather is much darker than what is shown in the picture, and the strap is a bit thick. I actually like this darker color better and adjusting the strap was a breeze despite its thickness so it was ok with me but just so you know.
Overall, I am very much happy with the purchase!

The bag itself is beautiful, great quality, sturdy feel. Took forever to arrive, I was told it was because of a quality control issue. However, once it finally did arrive, the actual colour looks nothing like the advertised colour. I expected a light brown color as pictured, and I received a dark brown bag. Doesn't match the items I had intended for it to match at all. I reached out to Hides to ask if colours vary (even though it didn't state anything about colours varying in the product summary) but I never heard back.

I loved my first one I bought it in another colour !!

The bag itself it quite nice for the price. The leather feels nice and soft. The color is rich. The features—key holder, zippers, etc are all excellent. The lipgloss holders seem to be set a little low in my bag, as when lipgloss is in place, it blocks the zipper below it. Not a huge deal though. I do wish the bag was 1-2 inches larger so I could fit a little more, but I guess that’s the point of a bum bag over a tote. Only thing I would have liked is the option for a red interior with the brown bag, that way I can find things easier with the contrast/it just looks fancier. Only REAL issue is the shipping time. It was “delayed for” quality control”—but I had to reach out many times before someone let me know that it was going to be delayed. Once it shipped it only took 2 days. I would order from them again, but will be prepared for the shipping issue.

It’s a little larger than your average belt bag and fits a lot while looking extremely stylish.

Leather is great quality. However, the bag I received was missing 2 features inside (which made me pick this bag in the first place):
1. It was missing the 2 elastic compartments
2. It was missing the earring zippered pocket

I absolutely love this bag! It is wonderfully constructed and the design is extremely thoughtful - all of the different pockets are placed and sized perfectly so I am able to keep myself organized, and nothing falls out when I open the bag to access stuff in a hurry. The team at hides is also amazing. When I first received this bag the leather was a different colour than the pictures indicated (totally understandable given the natural variation in their leather), but they were very kind and exchanged the bag out for another that was closer to the colour I had expected. Honestly overall a stellar experience, and I will definitely be making another purchase in the future!

I love all the pockets and the lip gloss holder and clip for keys. I knocked one star because there were a few small scratches on the non woven side. It is a very comfortable bag to wear and super easy to use.
